Welcome to the Tree Of Life Ministries website!
Tree
of Life is a 14-year-old ministry on the fast-growing Caribbean island of
Caye Caulker. We have a storefront ministry facility, children's church,
youth church, adult ministries, the Belize City House of Prayer,
and a mission high school with plans to open in August 2012.
Teachers needed
We are looking for high school teachers of all subjects, who love God, love kids, love teaching and love to keep learning. This is a faith mission and all our teachers raise their own support. In our first year we will teach only 9th grade, and add a grade every year until we have all four grades running. Teachers will also have opportunities for ministry to other age groups on Caye Caulker. Please begin the application process ASAP so we can facilitate your paperwork in time to certify you so that you may start teaching here in August 2012. High
School Construction
We've finished the lower story of the Schoolhouse which our high school will occupy. We've also built a home ec room, separate kitchen, auxiliary building and storeroom. We're now seeking church teams to come and build our home ec room cabinets and our Schoolhouse upper rooms, which need stairs, flooring, walls, electricity, and furnishing. We want to keep building to accommodate the rapid growth of Caye Caulker!
Landscaping
We have planted more grass and hedges and are ready to fill the swampy west end of the high school lot with more sand.
Children's Church
We keep reaching more families with the message: With God's love we can make our world better. Many children and preteens are coming to our storefront ministry and participating in our Children's Church and our Youth Church. They are learning the 5 P's: how to Praise, Pray, Prophesy, Preach and Practice what we preach, with Bible stories, learning games and applications. On Serve Squads they bring gifts, prayers, and help with chores to needy neighbors. Kids also learn spiritual gifts, spiritual disciplines and personal morality.
